Come and learn how to stitch by hand in this fantastic 2Hr Sashiko workshop. This relaxing session will gently guide you through the basics of the traditional Japanese hand-stiching technique, a method focused on simple, repetitive stitches that bring a great sense of satisfaction.

This calming activity is perfect for anyone new to sewing.

All you need to bring are your hands and a bit of curiosity. You will learn the foundational method of Sashiko, get a chance to practise your stitches, and create your own beautiful Sashiko block to take away with you.

If you have an item of clothing you wish to mend with a fabulous Sashiko patch, then these are perfect for things like ripped jeans or arm patches. You can even use your patch to decorate homewares such as cushions or throws with these beautiful designs.Take your patch away add to an item of your choice in your own time!

​​​​​Creative pursuits are best enjoyed without rushing. While many people finish their block within the class, you might find you want to complete a few final stitches at home, especially if you like to take your time. You'll leave with all the knowledge needed to do so.

You'll finish this workshop with a new found appreciation for slow stitching, equipped with the skills to continue this mindful craft in your own time.
