Intro to Woodworking lesson

In 2016 we teamed up Bayan Smith furniture (learn more here) to offer fantastic value woodworking lessons to the people of Manchester.

This was our pilot lesson so we are offered it at an amazing discounted price.

In this first lesson members learnt:

• The different types of hand & machine woodworking tools,

• The different types of hardwoods & softwoods,

• Where to source materials & tools locally,

• How to make (and take away) your very own finger-jointed bookends.

Our first lesson went extremely well with positive feedback from all. There are currently very few woodworking lessons offered in the North West so we will definitely be organizing and hosting more lessons in our new workshop.
